  • Russian for Russian speaking children (from kindergarten to 5th glade) - students who can speak Russian well. Children from families immigrated to the US from former Soviet republics. We have families from Russia, Latvia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Georgia and Byelorussia. Families who want to hand knowledge of Russian language to children from one generation to another. For this level the Russian School is using programs that are approved by Federal Agency of Education of the Russian Federation. We have Kindergarten, K1-5.
  • Russian as a second language (level 1) - children who can understand Russian, but need to develop their Russian speaking skills. These children come from families where one parent speaks Russian and the other speaks English only. In those classes we are using unique methods created by Russian School teachers. We have kindergarten and 1st grade students. We are using music, cartoon and other supplementary materials that help kids to understand better the language environment.
  • Russian as a second language (level "0") -students are learning Russian as a second language. The majority of children are adopted by American families. These parents want children to learn their native language and know their Russian background. We consider these wonderful parents to be very special and we work with them to help them understand the history, language and culture of their children's native country. Our teachers have created a special curriculum in support of our students. This special program includes tap dance or sport activity and Russian language for children from 3 to 7 years old.
Before classes start all children have academic evaluation.
Don't worry, we will find place for your little one!

We offer a wide selection of extra curriculum you can choose for your child as well.

Our Russian History class introduces children to Russian and World history.
The classes of Math and Logic put emphasis on descent mathematical education of our student.  Our goal is to make them not just past tests with A-scores but to understand and enjoy mathematical reasoning, and be ready to apply it when appropriate.

We are paying special attention to our Arts and Sculpturing classes. Children are learning about painters, art, composition, colors in Russian language, based on Russian teaching school. Along with that kids develop basic motor skills, and this helps children to improve their ability to learn foreign languages and vocal articulation.

Choreography, Dance class will introduse children to classic ballet and they will learn folk dances from different countries.

Singing class is very important to our school for vocal practice of difficult pronunciations in Russian for English speaking children. Class gives an opportunity for children to learn in relaxing and creative atmosphere.

Piano, Violin classes introduce classical instruments. Domra and Balalaika classes introduce Russian folk instruments. Combination classes of classic and unique folk instruments provide wider point of view on diver musical styles.

Russian School provides recitals and art exhibitions during school year which encourage students to improve their Russian language skills and work hard for art projects. Children are learning how to work in groups and how to perform in public.
